Swimming

I was home bored about three weeks ago and decided I would go for a swim before it got dark. I bumped into my mate nick on the way who was also going into the water, then another mate, then another. By the end of it my casual swim turned into a bit of a party in the middle of the bay. It was awesome.

Woody got bored of swimming so started flying. How can you get bored of swimming?

Before nick flipped the kayak over he told me that he wasnt too sure if he could flip it back over with out the paddle so if it seemed like he has been underwater for a while go get the paddle. fast.

WIPEOUT-part 1

Surfing magazine do a page every month called , wipeout, and it shows exactly that, the months heaviest wipeout. Last Monday I say I must have taken about fifty photos of guys getting thrown from the lip and couldn't stop thinking of surfing magazines wipeout section so decided to make my own. So for the first issue of Jimbo's wipeout section I am proud to announce:

No idea who this is but I think its a sick fall. He looked like he was about to stick the drop but the nose seemed to dig and he got thrown. Also pounded.

This was another late drop pretty much less then a minute after Ollies, im guessing he also got pounded!

Been Busy

Been extremely busy shooting the last week the waves and the light has been amazing. Will have the photos up in the next day or two.

Bit too much spray hitting the camera but really like the shot.

Music Buzz

Got this photo in Bakers in Limerick during the day a while back. The light sneaking in from outside combined with the lights on stage made it awesome. No idea who the band is, only took about four photos of them so was guessing I didn't like the sound of them.

Where have all the waves gone

Right! The wind sucks, the waves suck, the weather sucks. Summer is not exactly living up to what it used to be. Took these about 2 weeks ago. I got new fins and really wanted to try them out so went for a swim really late one evening. The fins are awesome.

Waves, Waves, Waves

I have had some good and bad shoots in the last two weeks. There had been crazy amounts of swell about and Bucko and I have got our fair share while avoiding the danger of driving the clare roads at crazy hours of the morning. Also had a really fun shoot with Damo and Bucko on an evening with awesome little waves and just the three of us in the water. Here are some photos of what we have been up to.

I think Damo and I hit underwater on this one. Got a awesome shot out of it anyway.

A dolphin was under Damo on this wave, he said he was full sure he had sliced it (the dolphin was fine in the end) he ran onto the beach straight away and shooted back to me that he dosen't like dolphins. He came back in the water a few seconds later.

Sunny and clean

Buckley and myself scored some sick little waves a while back. We hoped to repeat that yesterday by driving up north at 2.30am to get skunked and be back in lahinch exactly 13 hours later. It was still a fun way to pass the day(more like night) do so was not too bad. Here are some pictures of a time where we didnt get skunked!

Got bored about two weeks ago so went for a stroll about Ennistymon to take some photos. Ennistymon at about three in the morning is a pretty busy place.

Goodbye exams hello not doing anything over important for four months. Here are a couple of two different days I shot recently. Photography is much more fun when the light is good and the water is warm.

Jumping off and winning stuff

This is actually last month stuff been busy with exams so falling behind uploading. This is a cool waterfall where me and paul went swimming. Didn't take many photos out there because hunger struck so went home pretty fast but will defiantly go back was an awesome place.

This was all of us the night we won the LIT film Awards. Awesome night!

College work

This is a little bit of what I was getting up to at college over the last few months. The third film, Nos Na Feratu, won four awards at this years LIT film festival. BAM!

Went swimming with Rob a couple of weekends ago. Got this photo I liked.

This was my first time trying this kind of shot. I think I know what I did wrong, I kinda like it even do its weird looking.
